In Todays World Image is Everything
I always strive to create imperative, well-crafted images that have meaning and purpose. Images that don't just illustrate but also express. As a professional photographer/videographer my role is to communicate my client's message.
In our world of expanding social media and increasing on-line presence, content is everything. The first thing people view and look at on-line are images especially images of people.
Professional quality photos and video are a essential part of a good business strategy.
Image Competition
Simply put, if your headshots will be shown next to those of your competitors, you’ll want your photos to be better than the rest. For example, are you listed on a website that displays multiple service providers to choose from, such as a list of realtors or attorneys? If your photo looks better than your competition, your great headshot could be all it takes for you to get more leads.
Market Yourself
A great headshot is critical for many marketing and advertisement campaigns.
Advertisements you place online, on billboards, bus stops, and inside magazines receive better response rates if they include great pictures. Engaging, honest headshots are an important part of showing why your prospective clients should hire YOU and not your competition. Many ads only feature a headshot, a service description, and a phone number. I make sure my clients have picture-perfect images that capture their market’s attention.
Social Media
Earn more and better-paying clients through social media and ONLINE MARKETING. Be found by prospective employers on LinkedIn with a great headshot that showcases you looking your best. Your corporate headshot can craft your online image and control how the market sees you.
Office Portraits
Doctors, attorneys, and LAWYERS often have pictures of themselves and their staff up at the office, to help create a friendly, welcoming environment for their clients or patients.
Website Images
Many companies are including pictures on staff bio webpages – many consumers expect to be able to click and see who they will be working with. I’ve partnered with a number of WEB DESIGNERS and small businesses to create top-notch employee portraits for web pages.
Showcase expertise
A great corporate headshot will showcase your confidence and expertise. As part of your overall image, you’ll look more professional online when you have professional pictures. Conversely, you can lose your market’s confidence with a bad picture.
Program Pictures
If you’re a PUBLIC SPEAKER or regularly speak at events, event planners and coordinators definitely need a great picture of you to use in the program. An Attorney who regularly speaks at congressional hearings contacted me specifically for a headshot to be used when he gives talks.
Our Studio is located on 122 Church Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. We are also available for on-location photo sessions.

Portraits for Business and Lifestyle
Portraits for Business and Lifestyle
In today’s modern age with all the social media: facebook, linkedin, twitter, Instagram and so on its critical that we showcase ourselves as we wish the world to see us. People tap into your life through these social media websites and peer into your world. I offer Business and Lifestyle photo sessions to showcase the way you want to be viewed. Its a natural photojournalist approach that has a modern contemporary feel to it. No one wants to see overly posed photographs that appear to pretentious, but rather natural and artistic photographs. Images say it all. If you are running your own business, looking for employment, getting back into the dating scene, or simply longing for images of you with your loved ones for memory keepsakes this is perfect solution.
A simple headshot might seem like something anybody could do, but there are a lot of nuances that people don’t think about. What kind of lighting do you want? What should be in the background? Do you want to present yourself in formal attire or in something more casual? Should the image show you working or just smiling at the camera? These are all questions that a skilled photographer can answer, and be able to put you in just the right position to get the perfect shot.
If you have a business to promote, a good headshot can give your company a personal touch by giving customers a chance to identify with the person you choose to be the face of your business. If you are searching for a job, you can use a commercial picture to draw more attention to your application, and give potential employers an idea of whom they will be hiring. In any of these scenarios, having a commercial photographer on hand will help you make these decisions and properly promote yourself. You will be able to set just the right tone for anything you want to do.
I offer on location and or in studio sessions. Suggested packages are listed on our website: www.ArtChickPhotography.com - Call Kristine 215-650-7052

“Get Brownie Points At The Office”
Want to make a good impression at work? Suggest us for corporate portraits at your headquarters or send them to our studio in Old City. We will mention you and provide a 10% discount from “You”. We make new contacts, you look like a rockstar, and everyone wins!
“The Headshot is the NEW Handshake”
Its essential in the 21st century to look your best for employers during a quick web search. Having a professional headshot that presents the way you and your environment look now will help increase your chances of finding work. Avoid using photos that include other people , a couple of years old, or cellphone image. The former comes off as lazy; the latter can seem deceptive if your looks have drastically changed since the picture was taken. Create consistency by using the same style of photo for a number of social networks like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. They don’t all have to be the same but they should all represent the same person.
“The World Peering In”
In today’s modern age with all the social media: facebook, linkedin, twitter, Instagram and so on it’s critical that we showcase ourselves as we wish the world to see us. I offer on location and or in studio sessions. I adore to think outside the box and document my subjects as they are not what I think it should be.

What to Wear for a Photography Session
What to Wear for a Photography Session

What to Wear for a Photography Session
General Wardrobe Advice – Keep it simple!
You’ll want to wear a sharp outfit that makes you look and feel your best. Choose an outfit you would wear to an interview, or a sales pitch meeting, or if you were being interviewed on television.
Darker jackets are traditional for business headshots.
For shirts, wear solids or shirts with non-distracting subtle patterns.
For women, a bright colored shirt/blouse with a dark jacket is a very nice look.
Don’t wear all-white unless it’s underneath another article of clothing. (Exception: for women, white jacket + darker shirt underneath)
Avoid very light pastel colors unless they’re combined with dark clothing.
Strong stripes and patterns make a fashion statement and will be noticed – only wear these if it’s your personal style.
Avoid shiny clothing, turtlenecks.
Don’t wear all black – have some color in your outfit.
For inspiration on outfits, take a look at the photos in my portfolio and see what outfits capture your attention!
Ties
Bring a few tie options! This is one of the easiest changes we can make in your session if we need to add variety.
Hair
You’ll want to time any hair cuts, coloring, or styling so that you’ll look your best on the day of the photoshoot. You know your hair best! Keep in mind the date of our photoshoot when scheduling your hair appointments.
Makeup
Your makeup should be light and basic, as if you were going to a nice function. In many cases, less makeup is more classy. Bring your favorite lipstick and some powder if possible.
Shaving
You should shave on the day of the session. I’ll retouch out any nicks or scratches if they happen to occur that morning. I can’t edit out stubble after the fact, so make sure your facial hair looks just right for the session.
Jewelry
Keep your jewelry simple and classy. We want the focus to be on you! Anything that’s not too loud will work great.
Glasses
If you wear glasses every day, you should wear them in the photo. We can do photos with and without glasses if you like.
Note: if you have adaptive lenses that turn into your regular lenses into sunglasses, please let me know in advance so we can discuss your options. Adaptive lenses cannot be photographed outside.

Why a Professional Headshot is Critical
Why a Professional Headshot is Critical
I always take time to learn from my clients why they’ve hired me to take their pictures. This knowledge helps me deliver a greater value to the individuals and companies I serve.

THE HEADSHOT IS THE NEW HANDSHAKE
THE HEADSHOT IS THE NEW HANDSHAKE
Kristine Di Grigoli
Kristine (ArtChick) has photographed over 100 Celebrities over the years.
Here are some helpful ideas you may want to consider for yourself and your associates.
If you thought only actors needed professional headshots think again.
It is essential in today’s 21st century to look your best for clients during a quick web search. Having a professional headshot that presents the way you look now will help increase your chances of building business.
Avoid using photos that include other people, or that are amateur looking cellphone images. Also avoid photos that are several years old. The former comes off as lazy and financially challenged; the latter can seem deceptive if your looks have changed since the picture was taken.
Create consistency by using the same style photo for a number of social networks like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. They don’t all have to be the same shot, but they should all represent the same quality and style, which is why professional photography is the way to go.
