LOS ANGELES, May 15 -- Sunshine Pictures Productions announced today it's Next Major project "Violet".

Synopsis : Violet is kidnapped and taken to an unknown location under the control of a mysterious criminal organization and made into a sex slave. As these sex traffickers begin to die off in a series of surreptitious and brutal murders, they must discover who is hunting them and why. Is their new slave more than she appears?

Dedicated to original and exciting action and story telling, Violet brings a fresh take on the familiar elements of drama, suspense and violence. The film’s martial arts action appeals to a worldwide audience, but because the story is centered around the abhorrent real-world practice of human trafficking, the film aims for a higher purpose than violence as a spectacle. We believe that Violet will help to shine a light on human trafficking and start a conversation around the issue that may lead to real victims getting the help that they desperately need.

Joining Violet is a team of incredible talent from around the globe. The team is comprised of veteran award winning editors, military & martial arts specialists and multiple feature film directors from the US and Canada .

Jennifer is on her way to being the first female director of a “bloody, violent action movie” without the use of special effects or stunt doubles. Jennifer's specialty is producing and directing martial arts movies. Jennifer Linch Takes home the Grand Prize at iCannes International Film Festival

At iCannes International Film Festival last night . This festival holds a very special meaning to me from now and forever. I will never forget this. Not because we won the Grand Prize but because of the work of the beloved founder , the young-beautiful-respected producer Rebecca Guzman who passed away on the same date of her first international film festival . On the hospital bed before passing , she still reminded her loved-ones about the festival yesterday 7-7 at 7 p.m . She died on 7-7 on my birthday 7-7 and I won her grand prize at her festival . Her partners and colleagues are keeping her legacy alive and will continue to make the festival bigger and stronger next year . Rebecca Guzman's last work has given me and my team the chance for Flowers of The Night to get the exposure its needs at Cannes Film Market where studios, investors , buyers buying movies to distribute around the world. Rebecca Guzman understood clearly what it takes to protect your movies , your creative child . She passed away but her name and her work will always remain deep in my memory .

Dear Rebecca , I have never had the great pleasure to shake your hand and hug you at your festival . But I felt an extreme sadness when your host announced my name as the winner last night. We spoke by emails and you were such a fan of the movie. I wanted to say hi to you last night but I didn't get the chance to . I can't speak to you now but just know from wherever you maybe that I will always treasure this memory and your festival will always remain dear in my heart heart emoticon heart emoticon heart emoticon . Forbidden Forest is a fantasy enchanted short film directed by Jennifer Linch about two hearts becoming one and then tragically tearing apart. Set in a fantasy world of magic, princes and a forest like non-other, Jennifer Linch brings to life a stunning visual journey of a beautiful sorceress who finds true love and happiness, only to lose it all and be consumed by grief, sorrow and hate. In the midst of heartbreak, her miraculous powers become tainted by her endless pain and transform her into a ghoulish wraith that haunts the very forest she used to protect. Will she ever be able to break free from her tortured heartache, or will she be doomed to wander the forbidden forest eternally taking the lives of unlucky travelers who lose their way from the forests path?

Forbidden Forest is Jennifer Linch's third film. Jennifer is an independent film maker who brings her own imaginative style of visual art and story telling to the screen. With her deep love of cinema, Jennifer's film making style is organic and intriguing, with an emphasis on unique story telling that takes the audience on an emotional and visually stunning journey.

With other independent artists, actors and crew, we have already filmed all footage and the project is currently in post production. Our goal with the finished project is to submit to several international film festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca and Toronto. Everyone involved in this project strongly believes that this film deserves to be viewed in these esteemed festivals and shared with audiences who appreciate gripping cinematic fantasy, romance and horror. We gave our hearts, passion and hard work to this project and are proud of the amazing film we have created. With your help, we can bring this labor of love to the international spotlight and you can be proud to support the arts and independent cinema.

In order to complete the post production process, we need a professional sound mixer, sound effects, visual effects and a professional editor for trailers. Once post production is complete, we will need screen time in selected theaters, international promotion and film festival entrance fees.

Until October, all donors will be entered into a raffle to win the opportunity appear in Jennifer Linch's next film, tapping in early 2015 with well known hollywood actors.
